About Us

Greetings! My name is Taylor and I welcome you to your dream salon website. This concept of salon services is much more than just a business idea to me; it is but the culmination of a life-long passionate journey of trying to bring out the best in ladies- the most beautiful of creatures.
This is the story of my team and I getting on the boat of salon business and reaching new shores of success after constant paddling and having faced several tornadoes. It feels amazing to finally being able to open our tale of reaching new heights in a field that has always been closest to my heart. But before I tell you about my team, I would like to share with you all a brief history of how I got to this position and what made me what I am today.

Here is my life story

I inherited this skill of nail enhancement from my family who run a small scale business back in the old days. Initially, I was just a part of the mass flow of salon culture in domestic setting but, later, it proved to be a life-changing plunge for me. It was a step that enlightened my personality and vitalized my dormant beautifying potentials. It was something that never exhausted me, no matter how many hours I spent doing nails not only on family members but also on random people. While all the kids were busy watching TV and visiting places in summer, I would use this time to adorn nails of the ladies around. The best part was that it was a great way to help my family and made me feel useful too; hence, I used to get a major boost in my confidence and self-esteem due to this engaging hobby. Whenever I look back to my childhood, the only warmest memory I have is about doing nail art. I was done with school and by the time I was in college,

I was already well-known for my art and I had built this unit of clients who would always come to me and this helped me support myself during college. I would take classes in the day and when I was neither studying nor had any assignments for the next day, I was always found providing my nail art services to my clients-cum-friends. I always had an immense talent but, you know, learning and working hard is what takes a talent to infinite heights. So, honestly, I lacked the required updated techniques back then and deep down I knew they could only come with practice, but I had no time for that because of college.
Time flew by and life took a toll on me and I had to leave college after 3rd year. It was quite a rough period of my life when I had almost hit the rock bottom. Nothing was making sense and, like everyone suffering from a mid-life crisis, I had literally no idea what I was going to do with my life. Utter post-teenage depression and hopelessness could have been my possible fate had I not decided to take a giant leap of faith in establishing a nail art business. As they say that the best thing about hitting the rock bottom is that you can only soar from there, so clinging on to my only childhood-bred talent was almost the only choice left for me to pursue as a serious take on life.

I was just 22 and knew nothing about running a business. But I was lucky enough to have an absolutely loving and supportive partner, my then boyfriend. He literally drove me to my passion and supported me in every possible way. My parents were hesitant to let me risk it all for this business because they thought I was too young and naive for this. They were right in their own way but I had to do what I had to do.
So I started and, luckily, not from the scratch because I had the clients and the talent that I had worked on for 10 years. I just needed a place and employees. Not to forget I knew nothing about how to manage the employees, their payroll and sustainability of the business. I had to learn everything on my own and I wanted to make no mistakes because I was the owner and I had to make sure everything goes well. The place I started my very first and my very own nail salon in was bought from another salon. It was rated 3-star with 20 reviews on Yelp at that time. I hired people and most of them were older than me, so it was quite a challenge for me to learn how to deal with them without being

disrespectful. Soon enough, my employees turned into my friends and we were one rock solid team who worked day and night to make our salon one of the favorites for the people around, and in just one year, the rating of the salon increased to 4.5 with above than 40 reviews. I could not be more proud of me and my team. This was a dream come true.
I kept the salon for two years and a new chapter in my life unfolded. I got pregnant and I could not be happier. So I got married and with a heavy heart sold the salon but never the rosy memories and cinnamon lessons it gave me. I gave birth to my baby boy and wanted to be with him all the time till he aged one. I stayed at home to look after him and wanted to make sure that he gets all the rightful attention and care from his mother. I was 26 and my son was one when I found Plush from an online business site. It was established and in search for an owner to keep it flourishing; a perfect opportunity for me at the most right time, March 2016.
I did not give it a second thought and, with my loving husband having my back, I bought it. Now, I had a fresh business to work hard for at the tender age of 26 and I knew I didn’t have to hold myself back at all. I gathered and applied all the experiences that I had gained from the previous salon and it worked really well. I already liked the new salon and how it was left for me but I changed it a little bit according to my taste, and bam, I had all I could to start a magnificent business with. And here I am telling you my story of passion, hard work, faith and risk. And obviously some great nail art.

My team is my backbone

You must have visited many salons in the US and abroad and I can totally imagine how huge an expectation you carry with yourself when you enter in a salon of choice after such a wholesome exposure of the world. That is exactly why we have evolved so much in our salon career because we know what the aspirations of a millennial are.
Our salon is different from the conventional beauty shops out there in a sense that we are more modern and openly embrace technology as part and parcel of our daily routine procedures. Our interior design and state-of-the-art equipment speaks much about the truth in our claim. The employees working in Plush are all Americanized, speak fluent English, and extremely humble; all these traits aim to make you feel at home within our premises.
